If you have skills, great, but that is not a requirement and you will be able to learn on the job. You can sign a volunteer waiver here and we recommend you watch our safety video here. We will reach out to you to let you know about our current or next build schedule as soon as you fill out this volunteer skill and availability assessment.

Committee Opportunities
A significant amount of Habitat for Humanity of Grant County's success is credited to our dedicated, engaged, and hard-working committee members. All of the organizational ground work is laid out by committees and they act as the hands and feet of the organization.
Most committees meet once a month for one hour, with individual tasks being done to accomplish larger goals between the meetings. However, the time commitment of a committee member varies by the committee. Some committees may meet more during seasons in which they are needed more (ex. Construction Committee during a build) and some committees may meet less on a normal basis (ex. Nominating Committee typically meets 4x per year).
Committees consist of different levels of leadership. The following is the organizational structure of the committees with committee descriptions:
-
Board Committees - A Board Committee is consisted of Board Members only and acts as subcommittees of the board.
-
Organizational Committees - Organizational Committees do not have to be made up solely of Board Members. Committee Members are great places for our Board to recruit new members.
The chart below may be helpful in understanding the organizational structure.
